Rancho Bernardo, CA - October 29,
2008 - Rancho Bernardo Toastmasters Ron Gross and Rob Sudman win
again at the Central Division competition for the best Table Topic
Speech (impromptu speaking) and runner-up for best Humorous Speech.
The contest held at Cymer, Inc. in RB ran for several hours
Saturday, October 25th beginning with refreshments and lively
socializing among the contestants, judges, functionaries and
spirited audience participants.
Gross and Sudman having won at the District level on October 2nd
were delighted with the victory on the 25th at Central Division as
were a dozen of their chapter members who were there to cheer them
on. Gross will compete at the District 5 Fall Conference coming up
in San Diego November 14 and 15th. Sudman will compete if the first
place winner from another club, Estean Lenyon, is not available.
Rancho Bernardo Toastmasters welcomes you to join their lively club
